Job Description:

• Lead and coordinate design teams, guiding clients through design decisions and ensuring all aspects of the design are completed before construction begins.">
• Balance creativity with project timelines, documentation, and collaboration, setting up the Production Department for a successful project by minimizing confusion and delays.">
• Maintain a positive and professional relationship with clients, managing expectations and addressing concerns as needed.">

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Collaboration and Engagement:">

• Work closely with clients to determine their goals, requirements, and aesthetic preferences for the space.">
• Engage clients throughout the design process to resolve design elements and ensure alignment with their vision and budget.">
• Maintain a positive and professional relationship with clients, managing expectations and addressing concerns as needed.">

• Design Development and Coordination:">
">
• Lead and coordinate a design team, collaborating with architects, engineers, trade partners, and builders to integrate interior design with the overall construction plan.">
• Apply knowledge of space planning, building regulations, and planning processes to design functional and aesthetically pleasing interiors.">
• Oversight of drawings, models, images, and materials to communicate the design vision to clients and the project team.">
• Ensure all design elements are consistent with project goals, schedules, and budgets.">

• Design Preparation and Presentations:">

• Prepare sketches, visual aids, and models to present preliminary designs to clients for feedback and approval.">
• Establish content for design presentations, ensuring they are suitable for the project's scope, timeline, and design objectives.">
• Presentation of final design plans, using REVIT to illustrate selections, materials, and furnishings properly.">
• Collaboration with the project team to align design goals with construction timelines and budgets.">

• Project Management and Timelines:">

• Develop and manage project timelines, including internal milestones, to ensure timely completion of design deliverables.">
• Manage interior design projects (typically 3-6), collaborating with designers, consultants, and clients to ensure seamless integration between design and construction phases.">
• Critical role in overseeing the ordering and procurement of materials, adhering to project specifications and timelines.">
• Achievement of client satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving skills.">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in interior design or related field required.">
• At least 3 years of high-end residential interior design experience.">
• Strong proficiency with REVIT and Auto-CAD software.">
• Knowledge of building codes, planning processes, and interior construction techniques.">
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.">
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation delivery.">
• Able to lead, collaborate, and integrate multiple disciplines into the design process.">
• Ability to work at a desk for prolonged periods and lift up to 15 pounds.">
• Distinguishing between colors is essential.">
