Furniture Space Planning Expert Needed

We are seeking an experienced Interior Designer to join our team. As a member of our team, you will provide design services to customers, including site and inventory verifications, programming, space planning, typical development, finish & material selection, installation drawings, and specifications. You will work closely with Sales, Account Managers, Project Managers, and customers to ensure conformance to customer requirements, high-quality implementation, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities • Work collaboratively with sales and clients to develop creative furniture solutions that support project needs. • Attend customer planning meetings and present furniture concepts and information to customers for review and approval. • Review sites, conduct field measurements, and perform plan-to-site adherence checks. • Verify existing inventory/product and produce as-built drawings/specifications. • Conduct programming by interviewing customers/end/users and produce reports. • Develop and present block/space plans. • Select, develop, and present finish and material selections to customers. • Develop finished working drawings for specification and installation, validating plans against construction, electrical, and A&D drawing sets. • Develop product specifications, verify specifications against plans, and produce order-ready specifications using technology. • Manage changes and revisions. Requirements • Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and CET. • Intermediate PC skills, including Microsoft Windows, Excel, and Word. • Solid interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers. • Possess solid knowledge of best practices for furniture design. • Possess solid furniture product knowledge and ability to learn and apply new product knowledge in a timely manner. • Excellent problem-solving ability and follow-through. • Strong attention to detail and highly organized. • Works well under pressure and excels at multi-tasking and prioritizing workflow.
