Manage the process for RFPs and proposals, vendor evaluations, negotiations and budget control, using good stewardship at all times. The Furniture and Interiors Specialist will coordinate small project paint and flooring refreshes.The Furniture and Interiors Specialist will work with the Senior Director Capital Projects in the creation and maintenance of Mercy Health Services furniture and finish standards. The Furniture and Interiors Specialist will round and review furniture and finish status across the Downtown campus.Qualifications:Bachelors degree required (preferably in Design or Architecture); will consider 5 years or more of transferrable experience in lieu of degree.The ideal candidate is proficient in delivering projects on time and on budgetMust possess AutoCAD experienceMust possess at least 2-3 years purchasing experience (hospital setting is highly desirable)Beyond the required technical skills for this position, the ideal candidate must also possess effective communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills with the ability to build positive working relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders#OfficeNonMedEEO Statement:Mercy Health Services is sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy.
