About this role

JGArchitects is an architectural practice in New York City specializing in architectural interiors including projects for foreign governments such as Barbados Permanent Mission to the United Nations and Consulate General; and the Chancery for the Permanent Mission of Trinidad and Tobago; US corporate headquarters including for Siemens, Nippon Telegraph & Telephone and Kawasaki Heavy Industries; and Fortune 500 financial services firms such as Goldman Sachs and AIG; as well as tech / media companies such as Interclick, Unified Social Media and Buddy Media. The full-time intern will assist JGArchitects staff with architectural and interior design services for current projects. This includes AutoCAD-based drawing tasks, 3-D model renderings, as well as research and day-to-day office tasks. Internship Time Period: four months minimum, starting from September 2024; Full-time position. Skill Requirements: Good verbal and written English skills, ability to communicate professionally in an English speaking environment. Knowledge of AutoCAD and rendering abilities. Location: New York, NY, United States of America Compensation and Housing: Monthly compensation of $900 USD Housing not available, but will assist in the housing search. General: Students must either be a US resident, in a Visa Program, or working with a green card to apply. JGArchitects will help with the visa application process.
