Full Time Design Consultant

Scarmazzi Homes is seeking a talented and customer-focused Design Consultant to join our team This role is responsible for guiding new homeowners through the exciting process of selecting interior finishes and personalizing their new home. Position Overview As a Design Consultant, you will work closely with homebuyers to help them select flooring, cabinetry, countertops, paint colors, lighting, fixtures, and other interior finishes. Your goal is to create a smooth, enjoyable design experience while ensuring selections align with company standards, timelines, and budgets. Responsibilities Meet with homebuyers to guide them through interior finish selections Provide professional design recommendations and solutions Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the selection process Maintain organized records of selections and documentation Coordinate with construction and sales teams to ensure accuracy and deadlines are met Stay current on design trends, materials, and product offerings Qualifications Experience in customer service required Experience in interior design or residential design preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to build rapport and guide clients confidently through decisions Detail-oriented and deadline-driven Degree in Interior Design not required (experience is valued) What We Offer Competitive compensation Supportive team environment Opportunity to work with a respected homebuilding company The chance to help families create homes they love If you are passionate about design and enjoy working directly with customers, we would love to hear from you
