Location: New York, NY Contract: Contract, Freelance Job Description: As a Havenly In-Person Interior Designer, you will collaborate with residential clients in the New York City area to understand their design preferences, develop mood boards, design concepts, floor plans, and 3D renderings. You will source furniture and decor on Havenly’s platform and build deep client relationships to drive repeat and referral business. Requirements: • A degree in Interior Design from an accredited program or university preferred. • 3+ years of experience working as an interior designer with clients in-person and/or virtually. • An industry-professional presence with confident, knowledgeable communication skills. • Tech-savviness to use online technologies for concept boards, 3D renderings, and more. • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop or Canva for image editing. • Passion, drive, and knowledge to achieve creative results. • A small business mindset with the ability to drive projects forward and convert designs into sales. • Product knowledge across various vendors, categories, and price points. • Access to reliable transportation, a computer with video conferencing capabilities, and a current Photoshop license or Canva account. Additional Details: • Freelance contract role for designers headquartered in the New York City area. • Requires a personal computer with up-to-date macOS Big Sur or Windows 10/11 versions. • Compensation includes pay per project, commission, and bonus. • Applicants must be authorized to work full-time in the United States.
