Location: New York, United States Contract: Part Time Job Description Lori Margolis Interiors is seeking a Junior Interior Designer to support the team and principal. This is a part-time role with the potential to transition into a full-time position. The firm works on projects in NYC, Connecticut, and the Hamptons and is looking for a creative individual to collaborate on exciting projects. Requirements • Candidate must reside in NYC or surrounding area • 1 - 2+ years of professional experience in Residential and Commercial Interiors • Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or working towards one • High proficiency in AutoCAD and Photoshop • Strong organizational, creative, and presentation skills • Productive attitude and ability to collaborate with the team • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and produce deliverables • Excellent communication skills Responsibilities Include • Preparing client presentations • Identifying, selecting, and specifying Architectural products and vendors • Producing technical and construction documentation • Developing Interior Design packages and concept strategies • Creating visuals for client meetings in Photoshop • Communicating with vendors and managing job sites during installations • Creating and tracking purchase orders • Assisting principal through all project phases Additional Information • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:30 am - 5:30 pm with flexibility • Work Location: New York, NY 10128 • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred • Experience: 2 years in Adobe Photoshop, AutoCAD, and Interior design required • Work Location: Hybrid remote in New York, NY 10128 Posted in 16 hours
