JOB DESCRIPTION
The Junior Interior Designer will be responsible for supporting the Office Design and Move Services at the Office of the Chief Administrative Officer in Washington, DC. The individual will assist in project planning, design, modular furniture layouts, renovations, and communication with stakeholders. They will be the main point of contact for member offices participating in congressional transitions.
REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree in interior design, architecture, or related field with 2+ years of experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience in drafting, floor plan layout, project documentation, and furniture plans
• Ability to manage project execution, vendor communication, and large-scale projects
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Must pass a background check
OTHER INFORMATION
Compensation: $31/HR + $4.57 H&W per hour = $35.57/HR
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Benefit: Dental insurance, Health insurance, Paid time off, Vision insurance
Schedule: 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday
Required to relocate to Washington, DC 20515 before starting work
