About this role

DesignWise is a premier interior design, procurement, and FF&E Installation company in the hospitality industry located in White Bear Lake, MN and we are looking for an in office FF&E Interior Design Intern to work under the Lead Designer on hotel and casino remodels and new construction projects. REQUIRMENTS INCLUDE... "Enrolled" in or about to graduate from an accredited interior design program. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent visual, verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills. Extremely organized and methodical. Strong relationship building skills (clients, vendors, builders, subcontractors, coworkers) Detail oriented with accurate data entry skills. Experience with Revit, Adobe Suite, Sketch-up, or other design software. Proficient in Microsoft Excel spreadsheet skills. Must be exceptionally driven and passionate about achieving excellence in your work. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Materials Library: organization, sample ordering and maintain resource library. Product Selection: assist with research and selection of various products and materials, price points, and lead times. Lists Updates and Data Entry: upkeep of internal vendor source and contact lists. Rep Meetings: assist with contacting and scheduling representative meetings and product updates. Update Revit files based on space plans and room layouts. Manage product images, scanning and printing. Enter items into Design Documentation software. Prepare client proposal packages. Assist with creating client presentations (mood boards, sketches, samples).
