Job Summary: The Procurement Agent for Resort Design Projects role involves sourcing, negotiating, and procuring FF&E items for various hospitality projects. "> About the Role: • This position requires collaboration with interior designers, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand project needs and timelines. Key Responsibilities: • Procurement & Sourcing: • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure quality, pricing, and delivery timelines meet project needs. • Source, negotiate, and purchase FF&E items based on project requirements and design specifications. • Project Coordination & Communication: • Provide timely updates on procurement status, tracking orders and deliveries to ensure on-time completion of projects. • Collaborate with interior designers, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand project needs and timelines. • Vendor Management: • Manage vendor relationships, ensuring high-quality products and services are delivered on time and within budget. • Monitor vendor performance, address issues, and provide solutions as needed. • Logistics & Delivery Management: • Coordinate the logistics of FF&E deliveries, ensuring proper inspection, warehousing, and transportation for each project. • Manage the delivery and installation process, troubleshooting any issues that arise during installation. • Budget & Cost Management: • Maintain strict adherence to project budgets, ensuring all procurement activities are cost-effective. • Prepare and maintain accurate procurement records and reports for tracking purposes. Requirements: • Education: • A degree in Hospitality Management, Interior Design, Business, or a related field is preferred. • Experience: • A minimum of 3 years of experience in FF&E procurement, preferably within the hospitality industry. • A strong understanding of the design and purchasing processes for hospitality projects. • Skills & Abilities: • A strong knowledge of FF&E products and suppliers. • Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable terms and pricing. • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects at once. • Attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines. • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with experience using procurement software or project management tools preferred.
