Fabric Sales Associate, Interior Design

The Fabric Sales Associate, Interior Design is responsible for connecting customers with the appropriate fabric(s) for their personal and/or professional projects, particularly those geared towards home and interior textile projects and furnishings. The ideal candidate will already have some working knowledge of interior fabrics through previous experience in interior design, home decoration, remodeling, set dressing and/or upholstery. Overall candidates should have a strong demonstrated background in customer service and a willingness to learn from coworkers on the job. Associates who meet and surpass monthly quotas earn commission from their sales in addition to a base rate. Primary Responsibilities • Accurately assess customer fabric needs and direct them to a variety of potential solutions • Collaborate with other sales associates, office staff and staff at other Mood locations to fulfill customer needs • Strive to meet and exceed monthly sales goals to earn commission • Maintain clean and orderly displays of fabric as housed on walls throughout the department • Engage with customers over the phone and via email to process orders • Build long-term relationships with customers seeking consistent textile suppliers Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: • Dental insurance • Employee discount • Health insurance • Paid time off Schedule: • 8 hour shift • Day shift • Monday to Friday • Weekends as needed Experience: • Interior Design: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: In person
