Experienced Residential Designer We are seeking an Experienced Residential Designer to join our team at Scheer & Co. Interior Design. The ideal candidate will possess excellent design skills, be highly organized, and have a passion for delivering high-quality design solutions. Responsibilities: • Develop and implement design concepts for residential projects, working closely with clients to achieve their design goals. • Maintain accurate project documentation, including meeting notes, punch lists, and correspondence. • Create detailed drawings, specifications, and other necessary documents for permitting, design development, and construction. • Prepare and present design presentations, mood boards, and sketches to communicate design intent. • Collaborate with clients to select finishes, materials, and furnishings that meet their needs and budget. • Manage project schedules and timelines, ensuring timely completion and quality delivery. • Contribute to creating and managing client furnishings budgets, ensuring accuracy and adherence to financial constraints. • Support the design team in providing exceptional customer service and fostering a positive work environment. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field from an accredited program. • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in residential interior design. • Familiarity with construction methods, materials, and finishes. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and team members. • Highly detail-oriented and committed to producing accurate deliverables. • Team-oriented individual with strong relationship-management skills. • Exceptional time-management abilities, capable of handling multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. • Creative problem-solving mindset and a proactive approach to challenges. • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Mac OS, and Google Sheets • Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
