Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and passionate Experienced Residential Architect to join our team! You will be working closely with our principal on luxury, residential renovations and new construction from design concepts through construction. In this dynamic role, you will leverage your extensive expertise in residential architecture to create inspiring, functional, and sustainable living spaces. Your ability to manage multiple projects, collaborate with clients and contractors, and utilize cutting-edge design tools will be essential in delivering exceptional results that exceed expectations. Duties • Lead the full lifecycle of residential architecture projects, including schematic development, design development, and construction documents. • Collaborate closely with clients, interior designers, and principal to understand needs, preferences, and budgets, translating these into innovative architectural solutions. • Prepare detailed drawings and models using AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other drafting software. • Coordinate project scheduling to ensure timely delivery of milestones while managing resources effectively. • Conduct construction estimating and budgeting to align project scope with financial parameters. • Ensure all projects adhere to local building codes, zoning laws, and safety regulations while incorporating sustainable practices when possible. Qualifications • Proven experience as a Residential Architect with a strong portfolio of completed home projects demonstrating creativity and technical proficiency. 5+ years preferred. • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp and other relevant design software. • Solid understanding of construction processes including renovation work, interior design integration, construction estimating, and construction management. • Excellent project scheduling skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines efficiently. • Knowledge of CAD drafting standards as well as experience with project management tools for tracking progress and collaboration. • Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly through sketches, sketches (hand-drawn or digital), presentations, and detailed documentation. • Familiarity with building codes, zoning regulations, contracts law related to construction projects; experience in renovation projects is a plus. • Exceptional organizational skills paired with a proactive approach to problem-solving in fast-paced environments.
