Experienced Interior Designer - Minimum 2 Years of Sales & Design Experience.

Slater's Home Furnishings has been family-owned and run for more than 112 years, and today we are looking for our next interior designer. Applicants must be client-first oriented and very comfortable working both independently and with a team in a well-structured position that rewards productivity. Typical job duties include • Meet with clients to learn what are the concerns and desires are for the space, how the space will be used. • Creating and presenting designs, drawing floor plans and budgeting quotes based on initial discussions, and give clients a clear understanding of the scope and value of the job presented. • Maintain all aspects of client orders from the initial introduction all the way through the delivery process, and follow up after to ensure client satisfaction. Qualifications - Knowledge of interior design skills required. General understanding of the principle of sales. Strong communication skills. Highschool diploma required. Bachelor's in Interior Design, Marketing or Sales is preferred. Experience with customer service. Proven track record in achieving sales quotas.
