About the position The Entry-Level Interior Designer position at Slingshot Architecture is designed for emerging professionals with a Bachelor of Interior Design degree and up to three years of experience. The role involves providing design assistance under the guidance of mid-to-senior level designers and architects, contributing to various aspects of interior development, including graphic story development, documentation, and client interactions. The position emphasizes collaboration, personal growth, and a commitment to creating impactful designs in a supportive team environment. Responsibilities • Assist with graphic interior story development, including pulling imagery, generating mood boards, sketches, and drawings for concept development. , • Document floor plans, ceiling plans, elevations, finish plans, and schedules for construction documentation. , • Learn the SSA design process and project software, including ArchiCAD and Sketchup. , • Assist the design team with maintaining the BIM library. , • Support business development activities with finish boards, presentations, social media post content creation, and meeting note preparation. , • Assist in ordering samples for projects. , • Attend client meetings and design critiques. , • Maintain the interior design library and meet with manufacturer's representatives to keep knowledge current.
