Interior Design Assistant Luxury Custom Home Builder $45,000 - $50,000 Minnetonka Seeking a highly organized detail-oriented, and technically skilled Interior Design Assistant to support the team. Most suitable candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple projects simultaneously, and has strong technical skills in executing high-end residential designs. Key Responsibilities • Design and Execution: Help lead the design process for 20+ custom homes per year from concept to completion. • Mood Boards: Create detailed mood boards or look books for homeowners. • Project Organization: Maintain design documentation ensuring consistency and accuracy across multiple projects • Material & Finish Selection: Use current vendors to source materials, finishes, cabinetry, lighting to enhance the luxury feel of each property • Coordination with Teams: Work closely with architects, contractors and project manager to ensure flawless execution of design concepts. • Site Visits & Quality Control: Attend walk-through and ensure all design elements are implanted to the highest standards. Qualifications • Highly detail oriented and organized: Ability to manage multiple projects, track small details and ensure precision in all aspects of design. • Strong technical skills: Expertise in software for producing drawings, concepts of designs and mood boards and ability to work with floor plans, elevations and architectural drawings. • Problem Solving: Comfortable managing complex projects and adjusting to evolving requirements • Strong communication: Ability to present design concepts clearly and collaborate effectively with teams and vendors.
