Entry-Level Interior Designer

**Overview:** RA&I is seeking an entry-level Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects that focus on the Mind, Body, and Spirit, including Sports, Recreation, Education, and Religious Facilities. **Responsibilities:** • Assist with design development and construction document phases • Help with finish selection, creating presentation materials, and assisting during client meetings and presentations • Select options for FF&E, organize representative visits, and maintain the finish library • Work alongside senior designers to solve problems and develop creative solutions • Participate in site visits and hands-on opportunities to gain a deeper understanding of design implementation • *Qualifications:** • Basic hand and computer-aided design drafting skills • Basic knowledge of design, trends, and materials application • Basic knowledge of furniture, fixture, and equipment (FF&E), architectural/interior finishes, lighting, art, signage, color, and materials to carry out design intent • Basic knowledge of building regulations and safety codes • Basic knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of construction documents • Ability to prioritize tasks in order to meet deadlines • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing • Ability to work in a team environment • Proficiency in basic technical skills of interior design, including: + MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) + Revit + Rendering software (preferably Lumion and Enscape) + Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign graphic software • *Benefits:** At RA&I, we value our team members and offer a positive and supportive work environment.
