About this role

We are a Residential/Commercial Interior Design firm located in the DMV is seeking an Entry Level Interior Designer with proven skills in this field with a interior design degree. This individual is responsible for routine tasks related to being the part of a design team and teaming on design projects. Must be a recent graduate in Interior Design. Individuals must have the ability to manage multiple projects and positively contribute to each. We work on projects of varying sizes and complexities from conception through all construction to final move in. Any and all duties that may arise. Entry Level Interior Designer Qualifications: Must have the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment as well as the ability to multi-task as we need a self-starter who is motivated and organized. The candidate must have graduated college with an interior design degree. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Auto CAD, and Revit Ability to read construction plans The position requires 1-2 years of professional experience in the design of residential/commercial projects Ability to prioritize while performing on multiple projects simultaneously Ability to perform in stressful situations in a professional manner and work with a positive attitude Strong team building, organizational, presentation and communication skills (both verbal and written) and computer skills are essential Entry Level Interior Designer Responsibilities: You will also be required to work independently. Some responsibilities consist of constant communication with vendors and clients. Create and manage proposals, purchase orders, and billing summaries as well as client budgets. Follow-up on orders and build installation schedules. On-Site measurements and photos, client meetings, on-site coordination and assist with social networking platforms. Perform administrative duties as needed: answer the telephone, maintain contacts and vendors lists, office & office/field calendar. Track and coordinate all deliveries, work with subcontractors during renovation or construction, oversee onsite project installations Maintain communication with the principal, clients, and project teams regarding all aspects of the project Helping to prepare presentations for clients and organizing schedules and spreadsheets Order follow through and coordinate deliveries, general organization, and record keeping Entry Level Interior Designer Additional Details: Work Location: on site ONLY Driver's License (Required) This is a full-time position (M-F) We are located in a area where there is free parking lots of fun restaurants, parks, gyms and many other options Employee discounts on various lines that we work with
