About this role

About the Role We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Entry-Level Interior Designer to support our design team on hospitality projects. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or emerging designer eager to gain hands-on experience across all phases of the design process from concept development through documentation and installation. The Entry-Level Interior Designer will work closely with senior designers and the principal to assist with design development, material selections, drawings, and project coordination. Key Responsibilities • Assist with design concepts, mood boards, and presentations • Support space planning and furniture layouts • Develop finish, furniture, and lighting selections under direction of senior designers • Prepare and update drawing sets, schedules, and specifications • Assist with 3D renderings and visual presentations • Coordinate with vendors, manufacturers, and reps for samples and pricing • Maintain organized project files and material libraries • Participate in internal design reviews and client meetings as appropriate • Assist with site visits, installations, and punch walks when needed Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture from an accredited program • 0–2 years of professional experience (internships count) • Strong interest in commercial and/or hospitality design • Working knowledge of design software including: • AutoCAD (required) • Revit (preferred but not required) • Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop) • Enscape • Basic understanding of FF&E, finishes, and construction documents Skills & Attributes • Strong organizational and time-management skills • Attention to detail and accuracy • Willingness to learn and accept feedback • Ability to work collaboratively in a small team environment • Professional communication skills (written and verbal) • Positive attitude and strong work ethic What We Offer • Hands-on mentorship and exposure to all phases of design • Opportunity to grow within a small, collaborative design firm • Exposure to hospitality projects including hotels, restaurants, and public spaces • Competitive entry-level salary and benefits package • Support for professional development and licensure goals Please submit your resume and portfolio (PDF or link).
