Anderson Group International is a Restoration Contractor with Offices
throughout California. We are currently looking for a self driven, motivated,
and skilled tradesmen to work out of either our San Jose and/or West
Sacramento locations. Multiple Positions are open in the Reconstruction
Division. We offer competitive wages, medical/dental/vision, and 401K. Salary
is dependent on experience. DRYWALL/TEXTURE/PAINTER 1\\. Patching, hanging,
and floating 2\\. Mudding and taping 3\\. Residential, commercial, or
industrial experience 4\\. Reading design plans to provide minimal wallboard
to avoid unnecessary waste of materials Measuring and marking cutting lines on
framing, drywall, and trim using tape measure, straightedge, or square, and
marking devices 5\\. Identifying the exact locations of windows, electrical
outlets, and plumbing, and then cutting the drywall or ceiling tile to fit the
precise size needed 6\\. Cutting drywall to the right size, using utility
knives and power saws 7\\. Fastening drywall panels to interior wall studs,
using nails or screws 8\\. Installing metal corner beads to protect exterior
corners 9\\. Filling joints, holes, and cracks with compound, using a trowel
and broad knife 10\\. Trimming and smoothing rough edges so boards join evenly
without visual defect 11\\. Painting prep 12\\. Spray, brush, roll 13\\.
Paint, Oils, Stains 14\\. Applying primers or sealers to prepare new surfaces,
such as bare wood or metal, for finish coats 15\\. Mixing colors or oils to
obtain desired color or consistency Qualifications: • Three to five years'
experience in residential/commercial drywall/texture/painting preferred •
Experience with interior and exterior • Reliable transportation to and from
different jobsites • Tools of the trade and the ability to bring them to the
jobsite • References to verify your professional skills and experiences •
Strong work ethic and positive attitude • Able to remain in a stationary
position for long periods of time and able to occasionally lift and move more
than 20 pounds CARPENTER Carpenter Entry-Level/Apprentice 1\\. Familiar with
hand tools 2\\. Able to read a tape measure 3\\. Metal and wood framing and
roof truss components 4\\. Cutting materials using different tools without
errors 5\\. Reading and understanding blueprints and drawings 6\\. Placing and
securing wood during the building process 7\\. Being confident in framing,
measuring, trim work, and finishing work Qualifications: • Three to Five years
of experience in residential or commercial carpentry preferred • Basic math
skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division on the fly •
Reliable transportation to and from different jobsites • Tools of the trade
and the ability to bring them to the jobsite • Able to occasionally lift and
move 50 pounds • Take pride in your strong work ethic, positive mindset, and
desire to improve • References that verify your professional skills and
