Design Specialist Job Description We are seeking a skilled Design Specialist to join our team. As a Design Specialist, you will be responsible for meeting with home buyers to complete detail selections, colors, and options on their homes. Key Responsibilities: • Coordinate aesthetic aspects of the home based on the client's vision and sense of style. • Educate buyers on the nature of the products they are selecting to ensure compatibility with their lifestyle. • Offer upgrades to achieve a desired function or flair within the client's budget. • Enter selections and upgrades into our operating system to communicate them to the field and office staff. • Process necessary paperwork to implement selections and change orders. • Schedule appointments promptly to prevent delays in construction completion. • Update displays and maintain product knowledge. • Provide an exciting and pleasant overall customer experience. Qualifications: • A year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and KOVA software. • Familiarity with Apple iPad.
