Drapery Artist

Las Vegas, Nevada | Full-Time AG Interior Designs is a high-end custom interiors workroom serving residential designers and homeowners throughout the Southwest. We are seeking an experienced Custom Drapery Artist. This is a technical, hands-on role. Our ideal candidate knows about custom residential drapery styles and is comfortable with table work. The position involves a lot of time standing and working with an iron. What You Will Do Table work, ironing, fan folding, etc. Perform quality-control checks throughout production and before completed work leaves the workroom Coordinate with our internal production coordinator regarding department priorities Material procurement, sales, and customer communication are handled by other team members. Jobs enter the drapery production queue once materials have been received and the job is ready for fabrication. What We Are Looking For Demonstrated experience in custom residential drapery is required Strong hands-on knowledge of custom drapery fabrication and workroom methods Ability to personally fabricate custom drapery and train others when needed Strong eye for quality, detail, proportion, and finished presentation Comfortable with complex or unusual custom jobs Experience with a broad range of products is preferred, including lined and interlined panels, blackout drapery, sheers, ripplefold, pinch pleat, Roman shades, cornices and valances, motorized drapery, and similar custom work Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred. Highly qualified candidates fluent in only English or only Spanish will also be considered Must be authorized to work for a U.S. employer Compensation & Schedule This position offers a competitive hourly base rate. The position is approximately 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Overtime is sometimes available but is never required. AG Interior Designs does not currently offer employer-sponsored health, dental, or vision insurance. Location This position is based in our Las Vegas, Nevada workroom and requires regular in-person presence. We welcome applicants from anywhere in the United States. Candidates who do not currently live in Las Vegas must be willing to relocate at their own expense.
