Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Assistant Interior Designer / Design Support Specialist to join our award-winning team in Tampa. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for design who excels in both creative collaboration and behind-the-scenes coordination. You’ll work directly with our senior designers to bring projects to life while ensuring all logistical and administrative elements are handled with precision. Great entry level position for someone who wants to grow and build a career within a fast growing company. Compensation: - Competitive salary based on experience. ($45,000 - $55,000) Drafting & Permitting: • Create 2D & 3D floor plans for kitchens, bathrooms, and full home remodels • Draft technical drawings for permit submission (basic knowledge of Florida Building Code preferred) • Convert designs into 3D using SketchUp, Revit, or similar software • Assist with submission packages for local permitting offices Creative & Client-Facing: • Assist in preparing design concepts, floor plans, and mood boards • Source and document materials, fixtures, and finish selections • Help prepare client presentations and walk-through packets Support & Coordination: • Organize material spec sheets and manage vendor communications • Research pricing, availability, and technical specs for products • Maintain project documentation, spreadsheets, and email communication • Be involved in internal group chats and assist with client updates • Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to provide informed recommendations including leveraging AI. Requirements • Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills • Some design experience is a plus within interior design/ home renovation design • Interest in interior design; formal education in design is a plus • Ability to utilize 2020 design software/ AutoCAD/Revit/SketchUp or similar software is a PLUS (not required) • Ability to work well with customers and team members • Excellent communication skills • Eagar to learn and make an immediate impact • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Drive) If you have a passion for design and want to make a difference in people's homes, we invite you to apply today to join our award-winning team at Revive Design and Renovation!
