If this sounds like the type of environment where you would thrive, we’d love to hear from you. director of interiors ROLE DESCRIPTION: Based in our Southfield studio, this strategic leadership role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a passion for innovation in interior design. As Director of Interiors, you’ll shape the future of our corporate interiors practice by leading business strategy, mentoring design talent, and serving as the primary liaison to clients and industry partners. WHAT YOU’LL DO: • Manage the firms’ business plan for growing the corporate workplace and interior design practice • Collaborate with Design Directors, project team, and consultants to coordinate design direction and technical integration • Direct workflow and monitor interior design team project deliverables for quality and consistency • Lead market research on industry trends such as workplace of the future, WELL, biophilic design, green initiatives, and change management • Support recruitment, retention, and performance reviews within the interior design team YOUR EDUCATION & SKILLS: • 15+ years of professional interior design experience • Professional degree in Interior Design from an accredited program preferred • NCIDQ certification preferred, but not required • In-depth knowledge of workplace trends and corporate real estate • Proven ability to build relationships, lead teams, and drive design excellence
