Director of Interior Design

Job Overview We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Director of Interior Design within the Hotels and Restaurants space to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design and a keen eye for aesthetics. • 15+ years of experience with both hotels and restaurants • Can lead concept through production - stepping into the shoes of architects if needed • Can market and win work - this person should bring in new opportunities with a little bit of help, but originate work on their own as well • Can manage a team of juniors and other associates • Reports to principal in charge of interiors • Portfolio on Hospitality - Restaurants and Hotels • Interior Designer • Revit and CAD • Can conceptualize a restaurant look and theme • Can make all of the selections for finishes, furniture and equipment and accessories • Understand how something is built but doesn't have to be able to detail it. • Needs to be able to produce drawings, add to drawings, work with consultants and lead a team • Will meet with clients extensively, work with architect and project managers and QA/QC • Needs to be able to market hotel and restaurants Job Type: Full-time Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year Ability to Commute: • Houston, TX (Required) Work Location: In person
