This role combines design, sales, and client collaboration, serving as the face of our company for new clients. You will guide clients through home transformations, shaping lifestyles across Southeast Michigan. Responsibilities • Create engaging residential designs using Chief Architect or similar software. • Guide clients throughout the design process with professionalism and creativity. • Prepare proposals and collaborate with construction teams to ensure feasibility. • Contribute to sales goals through consultative selling. • Present design concepts and options aligned with client budgets and preferences. • Stay informed on cabinetry, countertops, flooring, and current design trends. • Maintain clear communication with clients, team members, vendors, and subcontractors. • Participate in company meetings as needed. • Travel locally for site visits and client consultations. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in interior design, architecture, or related field, or equivalent experience. • Minimum of 3 years of residential design experience. • Proficiency in Chief Architect (subscription provided by us). • Strong understanding of residential construction materials and layout planning. • Customer-centric with interpersonal and presentation skills. • Tech-savvy with CRM and project management tools experience. • Excellent communication skills. • Availability for occasional evenings/weekends. • Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally.
