About this role

Your Role As a Designerwith Gensler's team inPhiladelphia, yourroleis to combine creativity and technical knowledge with business skills and understanding to produce purposeful,functionaland beautiful spaces for our clients.You will bring together design excellence, technical rigor, and strategic thinking to deliverinterior spaces that areboth deeply functional and experientially rich. You will work within a highly collaborative, client-focused culture that values design quality, resilience, and socialpurpose. This role offers the opportunity to apply informed, user-centered design to unlock solutions that are defining the next chapter ofspaces that adapt, endure, and elevatethe humanexperience. What You Will Do • Youwillbe an integral part of our teams and actively foster a respectful, creative, and inspiring design environment • Supportinterior design assignments that include interpreting client's needs, space planning, conceptual design, schematic design, designdevelopmentand construction documentation • Collaborate withteammates ontheselectionand presentation of furniture systems,fixtures andequipment (FF&E), color palettes, and lighting • Generate design with 3D models, Revit, Sketchup or other software, create digital 3D view to communicate design concepts • Selectinterior finishes andreflectedceiling plans, elevations, details, specifications, and material selections needed for construction • Provide design support and documentation during completion and execution of design concepts • Support communication withexternal consultants, product representatives, furniture dealers, and fabricators • Guide and mentorless experienced teammates Your Qualifications • Bachelor's degreein Interior Architecture, Interior Design or Architecturefrom an accreditedprogram • 3-6years ofrelevantinterior design andinteriorarchitectureexperience within a commercial design firm • PursuitorNCIDQ certification is preferred • Strongverbal and writtencommunication, presentation, and relationshipbuildingskills • Proficient withRevit • LEED accreditation or WELL AP is preferred • Demonstrated commitment toresilienceandsustainability • ** This is not a remote position.
