About this role

Kelly Wearstler is looking for an Interior Designer with experience in private residential projects, luxury hospitality, and restaurants to join our team. The ideal candidate is a creative, self-motivated and meticulous individual who is able to lead a strong design team and act in a project management role. Passion and elevated taste level is a must! Duties • Lead and manage design teams to meet project deliverables according to defined timelines • Collaborate and interface seamlessly with clients, as well as other designers, architects, contractors, fabricators, artisans, and developers on multiple projects • Responsible for material sourcing and specification, custom furniture design, visual research, furniture sourcing, graphic and visual presentations, in addition to maintaining budgets and project timelines • Assist in the process of creating project documentation including the submission of a full drawing set, specification writing, schedules, and construction administration (submittal, RFI, ASI/IDSK review/response and consultant coordination) Desired Skills & Experience • 4-6 years of experience in interiors or architecture • Passion for design and an eye for detail • Excellent hand sketching and rendering ability • Knowledge of the full design process including Concept, Schematic, Design Development, Construction Documentation, Construction Administration, Procurement, and Installation • High proficiency in AutoCad, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), SketchUp and Microsoft Office Suite • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a willingness to adapt to the daily needs of the design team Benefits Overview • Health Insurance – employer-supported medical coverage options for team members • 401(k) with Employer Contributions – plan confidently for your financial future • 3x Summer Fridays – enjoy extended weekends during the summer season • Paid Time Off (PTO) – dependent on seniority; accrual increases with tenure • Parking Benefits – on-site or covered parking available to team members • Studio Wellness Programming – alternating Yoga, Pilates, and HIIT sessions every Thursday • Studio Culture & Events – regular team gatherings, celebrations, and creative programming that foster connection and collaboration • In-Studio Amenities – kitchen stocked with snacks and beverages to support a comfortable and energized workday The salary range for this position is $100K - $110K annually.
