Essential Functions: *Performs a wide range of CAD design assignments in support of the hardware engineering organization including the editing of models and/or drawing, notes provided by engineering. *Assures design documentation complies with the program requirements, organization’s processes and industry standards. *Prepares accurate drawings and schematics with proper tolerances, dimensions and instructions, with oversight from senior designers. • Create and edit accurate and complete piece part/assembly designs and associated drawings utilizing Creo MCAD application • Provide CAD support (Creo) throughout the product development process • Create and edit parts lists and Bill of Materials utilizing Agile PDM • Generate and/or modify product’s models, drawings and documentation • Support the control of mechanical digital data files and drawings • Prepare and incorporate engineering change orders • Input data and assure hardware structures are accurate in a Product Data Management tool • Support resolution of problems/issues in CAD design/drawings and provide Qualifications: • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. • Ability and willingness to obtain U.S. Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and receive favorable polygraph result Preferred Additional Skills: • Current TS/SCI clearance • Favorable Polygraph • Familiarity with ASME Y100 Standards • Experience with ASME Y14.5 GD&T • Experience with Creo revision 4 or higher to create engineering designs and associated drawings • Familiarity with Agile PDM • Familiarity with machining processes and operations • GDT Professional Senior certification Skills and Certifications: *Active TS Clearance *Security Clearance Required: Yes Compensation: *Full-time *Benefits - Full *Relocation Assistance Available - Possible for ideal candidate Candidate Details: *5+ to 7 years experience *Seniority Level - Associate *Minimum Education - High School Diploma or Equivalent *Willingness to Travel - Occasionally ========= Screening Questions: # Do you have an active TS clearance (or higher) and are you currently using it right now? # How many years of hands-on experience do you have using Creo / Creo Parametric to create and edit mechanical parts, assemblies, and engineering drawings? # How many years of experience do you have in mechanical CAD design, including piece parts, assemblies, models, and manufacturing drawings? # How many years of experience do you have applying GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and ASME Y14.5 standards to engineering drawings? # How many years of experience do you have using a Product Data Management (PDM/PLM) system, preferably Agile PDM, for BOMs, part lists, revisions, and engineering documentation? # How many years of experience do you have creating mechanical drawings for machined parts and manufacturing processes, including tolerances and dimensions? # What is the reason for seeking change from your current role? # What are your annual base salary expectations (USD)? # Are you open for Palm Bay, FL (Onsite): # Current Location, State with zip code:
