Hermosa Style Co is a fast-growing interior design and renovation firm specializing in both residential and commercial projects. We are passionate about transforming spaces and providing a seamless experience for our clients.
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Interior Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate is someone who flourishes in a fast-paced startup environment, and who has a concentration in technical skills and project management. We are looking for someone ready to jump onboard the team for some of our current and upcoming projects!
Responsibilities:
- Collaboration with design team and creative lead to handle specific tasks in ongoing projects.
- Project organizing and communication through the Houzz platform and company email / information database.
- CAD renderings and measurements as necessary
- Furnishing procurement
- Other assigned tasks in project and company operations
- Potential for project management roles
-Clerical / Development assistance as needed
Requirements:
-AutoCAD Experience + 1-3 years
- Proficiency in Google workspace programs (google docs/sheets/presentation/etc)
- Education background in interior design, degree and 1-3 years industry experience preferred
- Familiarity with aesthetic design software (Canva/Adobe) to create mood boards for client proposals
- Professional understanding of design styles, principals, and processes, with an emphasis in modern/contemporary styling
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to handle vendor and client-facing relations
- Leadership skills in taking on project management tasks
Job Type: Contract
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
Work Location: In person
