About the position
Responsibilities
• Programming and space planning for office environments
• Conducting site verification and product specifications
• Creating detailed drawings and managing inventory
• Coordinating with consultants and selecting fabrics and finishes
• Assisting sales teams with client presentations
• Participating in specialty groups focused on industry trends and product development
Requirements
• Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in Interior Design from a FIDER/CIDA accredited institution
• High level of attention to detail and technical proficiency
• Experience in drawing or specifying contract furnishings
• Knowledge of IBC, ADA, MAAAB, and other life safety codes
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively
• Self-motivated and innovative with strong collaboration skills
• Proficient in AutoCAD 2018 and Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with the A&D and commercial interiors industry
Nice-to-haves
• Experience with CET, CAP Designer, CAP Worksheet, and SketchUp
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Confidence in leading client presentations
