Our experienced design team is known for creating unique... interiors that transcend predefined styles or genres. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Designer at OCID. The Designer will be responsible for a variety of day-to-day tasks, including concept development, space planning, material selection, furniture and accessory sourcing, coordinating with vendors and contractors, and overseeing installation. The Designer will work closely with clients to understand their vision and transform it into functional and aesthetically pleasing designs. Attention to detail, creativity, and strong project management skills are essential for this role. Qualifications • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other design software • Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, and spatial relationships • Ability to create and present design concepts to clients • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Experience working directly with clients and managing projects • Knowledge of current design trends and products • Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and industry standards • Degree in Interior Design or related field • 3+ years of relevant work experience • Experience in luxury residential and/or commercial design is a plus • NCIDQ certification is a plus
