Design Studio Specialist

Are you an experienced and creative Design Studio Specialist looking to join a well-known, established organization? Pottery Barn is looking for a passionate and organized individual to join our Design Studio team. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills and a knack for creating warm, inviting spaces. To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of two years of experience in a customer service or sales role, preferably in a home décor setting. You must also be knowledgeable in design principles and color theory, and have experience with hand-made decorations, furniture, and textiles. A proven track record of providing excellent customer service is also required. If you are a motivated individual with a “can-do” attitude and a proven record of success in the design and retail setting, then this is the opportunity for you! Responsibilities: Provide excellent customer service to clients in the Design Studio setting. Create warm and inviting spaces for clients. Utilize knowledge of design principles and color theory to create aesthetically pleasing designs. Recommend products and services to customers in line with their needs and budget. Utilize knowledge of hand-made decorations, furniture, and textiles to create custom designs. Maintain accurate records and process customer orders. Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and courteous manner. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
