THE POSITION - Design Studio Consultant serves as the single point of contact for the customer and assists them in identifying interior and exterior packages for the customer’s home. They coordinate pricing questions through the purchasing department. They are responsible for designing inventory homes and helping to select products and materials that meet the Stevens Fine Homes standard for quality, value and style.
We want a highly motivated, detail-oriented and customer-focused design consultant who will be responsible for the following:
- Coordinate with sales team to schedule design studio appointments for customers to review option selections.
- Provide professional advice on the types of materials and/or upgrades that are most appropriate for customers. Review any custom options with customers.
- Write up detailed description of custom option requests and communicate with the internal departments regarding selections, pricing, time lines and changes orders.
- Understand interior and exterior package and option details and educate customers about natural characteristics and maintenance of the products offered, and set up the studio to best showcase the selections.
- Build and maintain vendor relationships and communicate regarding product availability and options.
- Create positive customer experiences by conducting informative meetings with home owners and providing courteous follow-up.
- Act professionally and communicate well with the team, homeowners, and vendors.

WE REQUIRE
Minimum of 2 years of customer-service experience.
Interior Design experience is preferred but not required.
High school diploma or equivalent.
WE PREFERPositivity, Teamwork, Enthusiasm and a Desire to learn new things
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
