Design Specialist

Position: Design/Quote Specialist Hire Type: FTE/Direct Hire Work Location: Versailles, OH or Kansas City, KS (4 days on site per week) Salary Range: $55K/yr - 72K/yr Desired Qualifications: - 2 YoE within design or architecture - Ability to read architectural floor plans and bid documents - Experience using 2D and 3D drawing tools (CET or AutoCAD preferred) - Associates Degree in Interior Design, Architectural Design, or Engineering Overview: Insight Global is seeking a Design Quote Specialist for one of our clients. They will be responsible for creating designs and quotes by harmonizing the clinical space, workflow, and technology & working closely with customers, distributors, and the company’s salesforce to create designs, drawings, specifications, and quotes. • Create spaces, designs, and quotes customized for customer needs • Provide professional customer interface with customers, architects, dealers, and salesforce • Develop project specifications and pricing, manages changes and revisions, and assures quotes are ready to order • Design validation against construction, architectural and design plans, adhering to building codes and ADA requirements • Manage work of all sizes, single rooms, facilities, or multi-floor hospitals • Lead/conduct live design sessions with architects, designers, executives, and decision-makers • Educate, coach, and consult with architects, facility planners, and sales teams
