• *Architect & Interior Designer Role Summary** "> We are seeking a skilled Architect & Interior Designer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for performing space and architectural surveys, collecting user requirements, and interfacing with Government project managers, building maintenance contractors, general contractors, and other personnel. • *Responsibilities:** • Assist with design reviews of Government projects • Develop high-level cost estimates for construction utilizing historical and research data • Prepare reports and other documentation as necessary • Gather and define customer's design requirements and prepare solutions ranging from conceptual design to final design within established parameters • Create design and construction documents, prepare project specifications, develop record control documents, and generate presentation graphics • Prepare cost and schedule estimates • Collect, prepare, and report programmatic information • Coordinate design activities with architecture, engineering, safety, security, construction, and other related functional areas • Ensure compliance with Building Codes and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements • Manage and monitor architecture and engineering (A&E) firms for multiple projects during the design and construction phases and handling contract close out • *Requirements:** • T/S Security Clearance with Polygraph • BS degree in Architecture or Interior Design • 7 years of experience in architecture or interior design • Proficiency with AutoCAD This is a unique opportunity to work on various projects, including space and architectural surveys, and interface with government stakeholders.
