Design Internship

General Info: Arch-Interiors is seeking a part time Design Intern who is currently attending classes in the Interior Design field and looking to gain exposure in a firm. We are looking for a self-starter who is eager to learn and can take basic office tasks and turn them into a learning experience. Duties and Responsibilities: Interns will work directly with designers putting together design presentations and pulling materials for clients. Interns will work with office managers assisting in everyday business procedures like accounts, purchase orders, proposals and contracts. Interns will also work with Design Vendors ordering and returning memo samples, updating and organizing library binders and meeting with vendors for product information presentations. Other responsibilities will include organizing the library, assisting designers with selections and budgeting, material pricing, etc. Skills/Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a mindset that focuses on customer service, possess a solution- oriented thought process, and he or she will be able to demonstrate a sense of creativity. We would also prefer the candidate have strong computer skills preferably in CAD, 3d max, photoshop, and sketch up. Our future intern should be up to date on styles and trends, with an eagerness to learn. This could become a full-time opportunity for the candidate with the right experience.
