Job Summary Stephanie Freeman Design is a Brookline-based residential interiors firm, creating unique, custom homes for clients in the Boston area and beyond. Our work blends styles to create soulful spaces that defy categorization. We love renovations that require our expertise in interior architecture. We take our work seriously, but we strive for a work hard / play hard culture and don’t take ourselves too seriously. We’re searching for team members that want to do inspired and challenging work, and have fun doing it. We offer 3 weeks paid vacation in additional to paid holidays (including the week between Christmas and New Years). Description: DESIGN INTERN We’re on the hunt for a resourceful, tech-savvy, and design-obsessed intern to join our tight-knit team. This is a hands-on, jack-of-all-trades role ideal for someone who wants to learn how high-end residential projects actually come together—from concept to install. This a paid internship with potential for part or full-time future employment for the right candidate. Responsibilities • Support day-to-day operations: scheduling, ordering, managing samples, general studio organization • Coordinate trade account setup and tax exemption documentation with vendors • Help build and maintain our material library and digital archive • Assist with the migration of our sourcing database to a new platform • Support the team during install days and photoshoots • Assist with 3D renderings and presentation visuals (SketchUp, AutoCAD, etc.) • Occasionally create behind-the-scenes content for social or marketing use Qualifications • Enrolled in an Interior Design and/or Interior Architecture degree program • Detail-oriented and self-motivated, with a good eye and better instincts • Obsessed with modern design, custom details, and the tiny things that make a space feel elevated • Not afraid to roll up your sleeves—whether it’s styling for a shoot or schlepping a side table • Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe CS, Canva, and Google Suite • You have a car and can navigate the Boston area • Comfortable lifting small furniture or materials when needed Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 per hour Benefits: • Paid time off Work Location: In person
