This is a **consultative sales + interior design role** where you will create custom storage solutions and deliver a premium customer experience from concept to installation. **Key Responsibilities** As a California Closets Design Consultant, you will: * Offer a **luxury experience** through product expertise and elevated service * Provide **in-home design consultations and space planning** * Design custom solutions using proprietary **CAD software** * Work with **interior designers, decorators, and builders** * Manage multiple client projects with strong attention to detail * Travel daily to appointments in Oakland and Macomb Counties ### Qualifications **Preferred Skills** * Experience in **sales, interior design, home improvement, home organization professional, or related field** * Strong **consultative sales** and closing skills * Ability to build rapport and develop relationships quickly * Highly organized with excellent time management * Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects **Requirements** * Strong communication and presentation skills * Tech savvy – ability to learn proprietary CAD design software * Laptop required * Must be able to travel frequently to **Oakland and Macomb Counties** * Valid driver’s license * Full-time availability, includes some evenings and weekends **Compensation** * **Paid training** * **Uncapped commission structure** * **On-target earnings: $85,000–$120,000+** * Pre-set, qualified appointments provided **Work Environment** * Field-based, in-home sales role * Combination of client visits, remote design work, and showroom collaboration **Benefits**: * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Flexible spending account * Health insurance * Health savings account * Life insurance * Vision insurance * Paid time off Learn more about our Michigan team [here](https://youtu.be/qy__pK2Yo5I?si=MDADFpET8S8f-fvt).
