Design Consultant - In-Home Sales

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work directly with customers, providing them with expert design advice and helping them select the perfect products for their home. Provide expert design advice to customers and assist them in selecting the best products for their home. Utilize strong sales skills to successfully close deals and meet or exceed sales targets. Demonstrate a deep understanding of interior design principles and trends. Act as a brand ambassador for The Home Depot, promoting our products and services to customers. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring a positive and personalized experience. Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and other team members. Stay updated on new products and trends in the home design industry. Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service at all times. Collaborate with other team members to achieve overall sales goals. Attend training sessions and workshops to continuously improve knowledge and skills. Proactively seek out new business opportunities and generate leads. Conduct home consultations and accurately measure and assess spaces. Provide accurate and detailed quotes to customers. Ensure customer satisfaction by following up on completed projects. Stay organized and maintain detailed records of customer interactions and sales. Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times. Display a positive and enthusiastic attitude towards work and customers. Continuously strive to improve sales techniques and processes.
