Skills • Minimum one (1) year of interior design or prior retail/sales experience • Knowledge of hard surface flooring is a plus • Proficient in basic mathematical skills • Self-motivated and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills • Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office suite • Internal candidates must have 12 months of experience in a design consultant position Responsibilities • Greet store customers in a helpful manner and support store design walk-in needs • Schedule design appointments for existing and potential customers • Provide tile, wood, stone, and accessories advice to homeowners, interior designers, and builders for both residential and commercial projects • Design and sell complete, functional, and aesthetically appealing solutions • Manage multiple, simultaneous customer projects through all phases with high accuracy and timeliness • Collaborate and communicate with store leadership and employees to manage projects from inquiry to installation • Support all company initiatives and goals by modeling and coaching best practices with store employees • Engage in current and emerging design trends in your market • Understand and utilize design applications i.e.; Salesforce, proprietary Online Design Appointment Scheduler, MyProject • Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications • Minimum one (1) year of interior design or prior retail/sales experience • Degree in Design is a plus • Knowledge of hard surface flooring is a plus • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills Education Requirements • Degree in Design is a plus Education Requirements Credential Category • Design or related field Experience Requirements • Minimum one (1) year of interior design or prior retail/sales experience Why work in Savannah, GA Savannah offers a unique blend of rich history, beautiful architecture, and vibrant culture, making it an attractive place to live and work.
