By collaborating with the design team and suppliers, the Design Assistant will help bring visions to life while upholding the store’s standards of excellence and fostering strong, lasting relationships with clients and partners. Role Overview: Henry Home Interiors is currently seeking applicants for the position of Design Assistant. Our Design Assistant will help with the day-to-day operations, ensuring the customer experience runs smoothly and efficiently, and upholds the standards of excellence for which Henry Home Interiors is known. As a Design Assistant, your organizational skills will be essential as you help with our point-of-sale system STORIS, communicate with clients about their orders, and support our lead designer in serving customers. You will play an instrumental role in building and sustaining our connections to new and existing clients, as well as furniture manufacturers and logistics partners, ensuring our clientele benefits from unparalleled care and assistance. As a Design Assistant, Key Responsibilities: • Design Development: Aid in the development and visualization of furniture design concepts, including creating mood boards and sketches. • Presentation Preparation: Help prepare presentations for clients, showcasing designs through sketches, 3D renderings, and material samples. • Scheduling Assistance: Assist the owner by managing appointments, calendars, and communications, allowing designers to focus on delivering outstanding customer service. • Product Development: Engage with suppliers and manufacturers to gather detailed product specification and samples, while also acquiring a thorough knowledge of product options for clients. • Daily Functions: Work within the systems and processes essential for the daily functioning and excellence of the Henry Home Interiors store.
