Design Assistant

Location: Britt Hill Interiors, 17022 Airline Hwy. Prairieville, LA 70769 Position Type: Full-Time (Monday - Friday, 10 AM - 6 PM) Are you passionate about interior design? Key Job Responsibilities: - Assist the lead designer with various projects, including research, sourcing materials, and organizing design presentations. - Maintain an organized system for project files, samples, and materials. - Support the team in sourcing, pricing, checking lead times for textiles, furniture, and decor items, ensuring timely procurement. -Use critical thinking skills and anticipating needs for the lead designer and team will be key to success in this role. - Communicate with vendors in a professional manner. - Complete tasks efficiently and meet deadlines, demonstrating a proactive mentality. Qualifications: - Strong computer skills - Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. - Ability to learn new programs quickly and adapt to changing project needs. - A passion for shopping and an eye for stylish design elements. - Personable and professional demeanor, with the ability to communicate effectively. - Must demonstrate a strong work ethic and a commitment to completing tasks on time.
