Design Assistant

This is an in-person position based in Fenwick Island, Delaware. We are seeking a talented and motivated Design Assistant with a strong technical background in CAD, SketchUp, and Revit applications. The ideal candidate will have a passion for interior design and will assist with special projects, specifically full home designs. This role requires a collaborative team player who is... detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently in an evolving resort market. Responsibilities: • Assist principal designer in creating and developing interior design concepts for large scale projects. • Produce detailed CAD drawings, 3D models, and renderings using SketchUp and Revit. • Prepare and present design proposals, mood boards, and material samples. • Conduct site visits and assist in measuring and documenting existing spaces. • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and clients to ensure project specifications are met. • Maintain project documentation, schedules, and budgets. • Stay current with industry trends, materials, and best practices. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field. • Proven experience as an Interior Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing full home design projects. • Proficiency in CAD, SketchUp, and Revit is mandatory. • Excellent visual and spatial awareness with a keen eye for detail. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. • Exceptional time management and organizational skills. • Candidates must be based in Delaware or have existing plans to move to the area.
