Decorating Sales Associate

Do you love interior design, have a passion for style or obsessed with HGTV? Then join our decorating center team at Warehouse Paint. In this position, you'll assist walk-in customers with their design needs by recommending products such as window coverings, wallpaper and fabrics, and consulting on paint color selections and overall color palettes. An eye for colors & design is a must. You'll also provide support to the department's outside sales/design consultant - scheduling in-home appointments & installations, and placing orders. One year of experience working in a design related field is preferred, but not required. Warehouse Paint is a local, family-owned business with 5 store locations throughout the Sacramento area. Job Duties: -Work directly with customers both in person & over the phone -Assist outside sales/design consultant with in-home appointment scheduling & order placement -Provide color palette recommendations -Recommend window covering products & wallpaper styles -Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs & climb a 3' ladder -Process payment transactions -Must be able to multi-task Employment Type: Either Part or Full Time, non-exempt (30+ hours/week) *NOTE: must pass drug test & fit for duty physical before hire date.
