Creative Interior Space Solutions Specialist

Job Description This role involves working independently and collaboratively with internal and external partners to develop creative interior space solutions that meet customer needs. Key responsibilities include: • Providing our internal CEM team with the necessary tools, documents, and resources to gather and present project design concepts and quotes. • Design development, including space planning, furniture and material selections, product specification, installation documentation, on-site field verification, and electrical coordination. • Serving as a leader, mentor, and pace setter for teams and colleagues, often taking on key client liaison roles. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of interior design principles, including texture, color, form, function, materiality balance, rhythm, repetition, proximity, symmetry, biophilia, cognition, and perception. Proficiency in AutoCAD, CET Designer, and Microsoft Office is required, with additional skills in Sketchup, 3dMax, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign being a plus. Required Skills and Qualifications To be successful in this role, candidates should possess: • A bachelor's degree in interior or architectural design, or equivalent from a two-year college, with at least 5 years of related design experience. • Prior experience with system furniture products is essential. • Mastery of commercial furniture and furniture systems products, including specifying ancillary furnishings and décor. • Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and ADA requirements. • Excellent communication, creative, and decision-making skills.
