Job Summary A Registered Interior Designer with NCDIQ certification will be responsible for interpreting, organizing, and executing the conceptual design of projects. They will utilize creativity, foresight, and judgment to meet project requirements and objectives through project completion. Responsibilities • Manage projects of all sizes and levels of complexity, providing project team leadership. • Responsible for schematic design work, participating in the design control of projects in various phases. • Provide direction to lower-level interior designers, ensuring successful project delivery. • Develop and implement overall design and space planning concepts with the team. • Solve complex design problems through all design phases, from concept to construction administration. • Participate in furniture selection, material presentations, and specification generation. • Research, select, and specify materials and finishes, ensuring alignment with design intent. • Manage multiple projects and deadlines, working closely with senior designers and project managers. • Contribute to the development of exceptional design concepts, expressed through 3-D visuals and drawings. • Produce and/or oversee the development and review of comprehensive contract documents. Required Skills and Qualifications • Advanced knowledge of FF&E, architectural/interior finishes, lighting, signage, art, and color schemes. • Knowledge of architectural building systems. • Proven ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and provide high-quality service to clients. • Proficient in Revit, Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketchup, and InDesign. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word and Excel. Education and Experience • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design. • NCIDQ certified. • 7+ years' experience in interior design on various projects, with 10+ years preferred.
