About this role
Primary job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Overseeing that all aspects of Certified Payroll is entered correctly and on time
· Entering A/P invoices into QuickBooks
· Will process payroll when the Payroll Manager is out
· Responsible for answering phones in a courteous and professional manner, along with maintaining emails (Microsoft Outlook).
· To provide necessary administrative support to the office staff, maintaining records, filing and data entry
· Establish administrative processes that consistently provide accurate and timely information
· Communicate routinely with the Construction/Project Managers on various job-related topics
· Prepare and edit documents, maintain and update databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in all duties performed
· Tracking equipment rentals
Job requirements:
· At least five years proficiency in QuickBooks
· At least five years general accounting experience and a background in construction accounting preferred
· Certified Payroll experience with LCP Tracker & E-Mars programs-MUST HAVE
· Experience in accounts payable, payroll and payroll reports
· Good written communication skills and ability to use Microsoft Word
· Proficient with numbers, including Excel, and knowledge of basic accounting
· Time management skills include multitasking skills, problem-solving skills, and strong organization skills
· Efficient verbal and written communication skills
· Professional and friendly demeanor
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
