Color Selection Specialist

About the position The Color Selection Specialist at Saratoga Homes plays a crucial role in assisting home buyers with their color selections and upgrade options, ensuring a positive experience while protecting the company's interests. This part-time position involves coordinating with various stakeholders, managing change orders, and maintaining effective communication throughout the construction process. Responsibilities • Facilitate the Home-Buyer's color selection with a cheery attitude and dedicated persona. , • Sell upgrade design center options that benefit the buyer and complement the home. , • Verify correct colors and materials are ordered per home per color selection and change order with Purchasing Clerks. , • Organize and inform Construction Managers of Executed Change Orders and verify that correct materials are ordered. , • Collect change order money and deposits and work with the sales manager on financed options. , • Protect the company by only allowing buyers to finance options that will add appraised value to the home. , • Set up pre-construction and frame walk meetings with buyers and Construction Managers. , • Prepare the Construction Managers with any executed change orders that have been paid for said meetings. , • Coordinate with Construction Managers for a receipt of initial and final inspections to facilitate warranty enrollment program. , • Field Verify correct materials and colors when needed. , • Account for option profit margin with estimators and demonstrate incentive pay amounts per Compensation Agreement. , • General office management including answering phones, executing reports and other duties deemed important by management.
