Specific Responsibilities: New Market Builders is looking to add a top quality Carpenter with superior technical skills, as well as attention to detail, good communication skills and dedication to producing high level work. -on-site finish and rough carpentry tasks -installation of doors, windows and cabinetry -site organization and clean up -client management -communication with office staff / design team -ordering of materials for projects -shop work: building cabinets, countertops, shop set-up and organization Job Requirements and Qualities Include: -creativity in problem solving detail issues with finishes or incorporating new plans in to existing spaces; getting everything to work and fit in without sacrificing design -ability to multi-task effectively -positive attitude -quality control and site safety of all working on site -directing subcontractors in following work laid out by project drawings or proposals (need to be able to read blue prints and know order of total job sequencing). -superior attention to detail and commitment to high level work -excellent communication skills to interface with office and clients Education / Experience: -High School Diploma or GED -3-5 years of on-site Residential Carpentry experience The ideal Carpenter will have the following: -Own transportation; clean driving record -Own hand tools, circular saw and cordless tools.
